Eastland
From The World of Shannara
The Eastland is a region in the Four Lands that correspond with the compass point, thus being in the east of the Four Lands. It is the home of the Dwarves and Gnomes in the Lower Anar and Upper Anar respectively. The two races are bitter enemies constantly fighting over the years for territory.

Overview
The main areas of the Eastland are as follows:
- the Upper Anar
- the Lower Anar
- Wolkfsktagg Mountains
- Ravenshorn Mountains
- Darklin Reach.
It borders the Southland on the Lower Anar and Wolfsktaag Mountains, and the Northland on the Upper Anar and Rabb Plains.
Upper Anar
The Upper Anar is a mysterious forest home to many evil creatures. It is nestled between the Wolfstaag and the Ravenshorn Mountains and hides the dwelling place of the shade Grimpond. This is a shady creature who is mortal enemies with Walker Boh. The forests are inhabited by Spider Gnomes.
Darklin Reach
Darklin Reach is a seldom traveled place as it is regarded by most as a place to be avoided. It is home to Spider Gnomes, wirey, barely human creatures wild and primitive. They commune with spirits and sacrificed to old gods. Darklin Reach is a world that was frozen in time since the advent of the Great Wars.[1]
Hearthstone
Hearthstone is a solitary, chimney-shaped spire that juts skyward. It lies in a small forested valley within Darklin Reach. The valley is full of towering stands of hardwoods - red elms, white and black oak, shagbark hickory, and birch.
Hearthstone is home to the once-Druid, Cogline during the time of the Second War of the Races till past the War of the Mord Wraiths. During the time of the War with the Shadowen, Walker Boh made his home here as well. In the valley in a broad clearing he had built a small cabin. One that over the years became rustic and weathered, often badly in need of repairs.
Wolfsktaag Mountains
Pass of Jade
Northern pass through the Wolfsktaag Mountains, the wider of the two passes through the mountains.
Pass of Noose
South pass through the Wolfsktaag Mountains.
Ravenshorn Mountains
The Ravenshorn Mountains are in the northern part of the Lower Anar, due east of Culhaven and due west of the Cillidellan and Capaal.
Lower Anar
Culhaven
Culhaven is the capital of the Dwarven people laying in the northern part of the Lower Anar near the borders of the Southland.
Stedden Keep
A Dwarven defensive keep at the head of the Cillidellan, to the east and north of the lake. Stedden Keep was built well before the Second War of the Races up the headwaters of the Cillidellan. After Stedden Keep the only defensive structure was the Dwarven fortress of Dun Fee Aran. The Dwarves made a strong stand against the Northland army at the Keep. With their forces depleted they were able to hold the keep for only a few days.[2] With the abandonment of the keep, the Northland army destroyed the Stedden Keep. It was not rebuild during Raybur's reconstruction, instead replaced by Capaal.
