Trim is a small owl but striking marked with a speckled white breast and black bands on its wings and rings about it yellow saucer eyes.[1] Trim is sent by The Lady to guide Logan Tom to the Elves of Cintra. Trim guides Logan first to a Ventra 5000 AV vehicle for him to use to travel faster. Then directly to the Elves. He also helps Logan and Kirisin later in escaping from the demons and once-men after Kirisin uses the Loden Elfstone to gather up Arborlon.
