The World of Shannara is a fansite dedicated to gathering and sharing information about the characters, creatures, and world created by the author Terry Brooks in the novels of his Shannara series.

[edit] Why a Wiki?

The creator of this site is a huge fan of the Shannara series as written by Terry Brooks, and a bit of a web guy. It is his hope to create a living site that can be contributed by other fans as well as himself, full of information and the sharing of knowledge and tidbits about the Shannara series. Seeing that most of the Shannara fansites on this net become defunct after a period of time and difficult to maintain, it is the hope to create a bit of a fan base through the use of this site that will contribute to the site in an ongoing fashion so that more that one user is maintaining and adding content to the site.
