Achille is a gaunt man with a shock of black hair, ragged and thin.[1] Achille serves Krilka as he belives that Krilka is invincible and he therefore gives Achille hope in a world without hope.[1] He is the one that is left to gather Logan Tom and prepare him for his combat with Krilka.

Meike

Meike is a young girl of fourteen or fifteen with a freckled face and long sandy hair. She is a young girl that lives in the compound in Seattle. Logan Tom stops her to find out what has happened to Hawk and Tessa. She tells him of them being cast off the compound walls and being enveloped by a bright light. Logan warns her to feel the compound with her family and anyone that will listen. She caught up to him and revels that she has no brothers, sisters, or parents and is all alone. Logan realizes that he may have terrified her into inaction. Logan turns from her and tries to flee the compound before anyone identifies him.[1]

Culph

Culph is the keeper of the elven histories in service to the elven king, Arissen Bellorous. Described in appearance as short and withered, an elder of indeterminate age. He had a wrinkled face that was covered by a halfhearted effort to grow a beard and a pair of huge ears.[2] Culph is a gruff old man that is not use to the company of others, spending all his time with the books of the elven history.
Culph discovers Erisha and Kirisin without the rook holding the elven histories at night without the kings permission. Hearing the two's concen and conviction, combined with his own concern over the recent change in behavior of the king, Culph decides to help the two with whatever information he has already gathered and told the king.[3] Culph shares with them the potential location of the Blue Elfstones and agrees to help them look for the elfstones to try and help the Ellcrys.
After the lack of success with that, he assists them by finding the maiden name of the elven queen but is unable to go with them that night. During that evening he is killed by the demons, with his body being discovered by Tragen.[4]
Maurin Ortish

Maurin Ortish is the captain of the Elven Home Guard. A tall slender man in his middle years with very pronounced elven features, yet an unexpectedly soft tone to his voice. Maurin walks with a bad limp from an accident suffered several years in the past that left him with one leg shorter than the other. However his skill at his job and his commanding pre-sence had made sure that no real consideration had ever been given to replacing him as captain of the Home Guard. [5]

Praxia is a short and wiry young elven tracker under the command of Simralin Belloruus. She is part of the group of elves that discovers Angel Perez and Ailie. She is very opposed to bringing the two into the elven homeland, and vocal about her anger. [6] She seems to be hot-headed and rash, eeending up knocked unconscious went trying to take Angel's staff from her. it is commented that she does not stop to think anything through.[7]

Tragen is an elven tracker under the command of Simralin Belloruus. He is part of the group of elves that discovers Angel Perez and Ailie. Big and broad shouldered with dark and sullen features. He is knowledgeable about Knights of the Word, there office and the staff they carry. He supports Simralin's stance to bring Angel and Ailie before the elven King. [6]
After Erisha's death, Simralin goes to Tragen to have him find out about Culph. Tragen discovers that he is dead, and that Kirisin, Simralin, and Angel are being hunted for the death of Erisha. It is discovered that Tragen and Simralin have that starting of a relationship happening. He is determined to come with them, but Simralin asks that he go to her parents to warn them to stay out of Arborlon, to which he reluctantly agrees.[8]
